Certification
RSD offers an online certification process to help you validate your product knowledge and have this officially recognised within your Partner level, the wider partner community and your potential customers.
The certification is based on a timed online examination that can be taken at your leisure, in your environment. The examination is a comprehensives set of multiple choice questions covering various aspects of the RSD’s solution that you have studied. The focus is around products functional, technical concepts, installation, configuration, best practices and methodology applied to project implementation.
Certification exams, though not strongly recommended, can be taken without the need of one or more of the RSD official training courses.
Registration for certification is available through the Partner Portal. When registering, you will need to provide both your contact details and those of the company (RSD Partner) that you work for. Once registered, you will receive an email with confirmation of the product certification you have registered to undertake and a link to start the online certification exam.
There is a fee required to take the certification exam.
Having completed an exam, students will be provided an electronic copy of their examination paper, notification of their score and if they have been successful in obtaining the certification. Pass rates for individual exams will be confirmed prior to taking the exam. Students who fail an exam will be invited to take the exam on a second occasion and will also have the option to contact an RSD training instructor to reconfirm subjects and materials where required.
Successful students will be sent a certificate confirming their status as an RSD Expert on the solution chosen. The company that they work for will also be credited and this will count towards a higher RSD Partnership level as described in the Partnership agreement signed.
