RSD Data2Doc

RSD Data2Doc is a document generation solution that combines an open architecture, an easy-to-use document design interface and smart processing to produce sophisticated PDF documents. Once designed, documents can be generated to meet the demands of both daily batch processing and ad-hoc requests.

Data2Doc assembles data from multiple heterogeneous sources, to create PDF documents which can encompass the spectrum of elements from text and images to complex crosstab matrices. Data2Doc:

• Enables the creation of simple or intricate data models, used to generate secure PDF documents.
• Incorporates, within a single data model, text, shapes, images, graphs, matrices, annotations, hyperlinks, optical mark recognition, tables of contents and already existing PDF elements. Matrices, graphs and tables of contents are created on-the-fly when a document is generated.
• Consolidates, extracts and refines data from diverse sources across the IT environment, including databases, XML and CSV formatted files.
• Sorts, filters and applies aggregate functions to source data.
• Automatically readjusts page elements and modifies text elements, according to the document definition.

• Supports the generation of the same PDF in different languages, with region-specific date and number formats.
• Developed with Java technology, ensures compatibility with the IT environment by storing all definitions in XML files and communicating with clients via HTTP protocol.
