Geneva – Switzerland, April 16, 2004, RSD (Roger Software Development) announces a new release for EOS (Enterprise Output Solution) for Unix and Windows servers. Responding to customer requirements, this new version offers streamlined content delivery and enhanced distribution functionality.
Administrators now benefit from more flexible distribution and monitoring options to assign portions of data streams to designated recipients and track unassigned portions. This new version also provides better control over print distribution and the printing environment.
For improved security, a new input descriptor group option is available, an additional tool to limit access to sensitive information. The Capture Assistant now offers functionality facilitating searches and data analysis, such as character case conversion and stripping the thousands separator from numeric strings. EOS 1.4 also supports the innovative Doc2Mail component, permitting automatic e-mail notification or delivery of reports.
