Geneva – Switzerland, February 11, 2004, RSD (Roger Software Development) announces that Erisa, a French life-insurance and investment company, subsidiary of both Swiss Life and CCF, acquired RSD Folders for Unix servers to manage its customer-related content.
A fast growing company, Erisa acquired RSD Folders for the management of its customer information, replacing paper with electronic files. The RSD Folders solution offers a flexible archival and retrieval system for content stored in any format. Its folder structure is perfectly suited for the handling of customer files, providing a single and complete listing of all communication related to a client, produced by the company and sent by the customer. Easy-to-use functionality includes advanced list filtering and retrieving information using standard business terminology.
The move to electronic document management will result in increased efficiency and improved quality of service to Erisa customers by streamlining access to information. RSD Folders will provide secure and authorized concurrent access to the 220,000 Erisa customer files. Erisa's employees will use RSD's Thin Client, with its extended functionality, while the banking network of sales partners will view their data via a Web application developed with RSD's API.
"Greater efficiency and cost reduction are critical requirements in today's competitive business environment. We are proud to contribute to Erisa's move to eliminate time-consuming and labor-intensive customer-related paper processes. With RSD Folders, Erisa can rely on a scalable solution that seamlessly adapts to the company's working practices" says Didier Basset, RSD's Director for Sales and Marketing.
This project has been implemented in cooperation with BSC - Business Software Consulting - RSD's integration partner in France.
