Pre Sales Consultant

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Pre-Sales Consultant to join RSD’s team in Zürich. RSD, headquarter in Geneva, has established itself as a Leader in the Information Governance space.  The open position is based in the Zürich office.

The mission of the Solution Consultant is to accelerate the market adoption of all RSD solutions for Information Governance. Alongside the sales, partner and distributor organizations the solution consultant is on the front line, understanding the business needs and delivering the solutions to meet them.

The scope of this Solution Consultant role consists of the following pre-sales activities:

  • Assist the account teams to promote, present, evangelise and educate their customers on-site. Provide proactive communication to the account teams to empower them to effectively promote and sell RSD’s solutions.
  • To acquire detailed understanding of the RSD product set coupled with detailed analytical skills.
  • Organize, plan and deliver pro-active on-site technical workshops to key/targeted account teams and customers.
  • Provide market intelligence information to Product Management and Solution Management to drive appropriate developments for future services, features, interfaces, platforms and solutions.
  • Be the consultant ambassador of RSD’s solutions and assist the marketing organization with solution launches, technical press meetings, customer events, industrial events and relevant corporate events.
  • To keep up to date with emerging technologies and understand their potential impact on RSD.
  • To fully understand strategic, conceptual, consultative and solution selling as related to the RSD market space.
  • The ability to understand, develop and communicate the RSD marketing messages.
  • Work with Product Managers and Development to understand the solutions and product directions and to communicate this information to the sales, partner and distributor organisations.
  • Remain up to date with market direction by understanding compliance, key regulations, business drivers and evolving business demands and applying this knowledge to build relevant RSD solutions.
  • Learn and analyse the competition to fully understand and articulate the differences between RSD and the competitors.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience of technical pre-sales.
  • Native German speaking
  • Fluent in English
  • French is an advantage

 

Experience of Print/Output formats

Knowledge of output formats such as (AFP, PDF, Postscript, PCL) is desirable.

 

Experience in ECM/GRC/IM

Proven track record of selling and providing ECM, GRC or IM solutions preferred

 

Knowledge of Document / Record infrastructures

Detailed knowledge of the classification, retention and disposal of documents & records in line with regulatory requirements is required.

 

Flex & Flash Knowledge is highly desirable.
