Key Account Manager for Switzerland

Job Description

RSD SA has currently an immediate opening for a Key Account Manager in charge of Direct and Indirect sales development in Switzerland (mainly Suisse Romande) with possible territory extension into German speaking territory.
The new RSD Senior KAM will be responsible for establishing, maintaining or expanding relationships and actively developing RSD sales with named accounts or all accounts and strategic partners within the given territory.

Responsibilities

  • Apply consultative and strategic selling skills
  • Show technical expertise to selling, developing and managing a customer base for RSD solutions
  • Address existing customers and non customers through direct, face to face contacts
  • Develop long term and valuable partnerships with local distributors for specific territory sections
  • Follow a sales strategy, initiate and develop contact and consulting on a regular basis with existing clients
  • Understand customers and partners strategic business objectives
  • Evaluate customers and prospects information strategies and solutions in relation to those objectives
  • Develop proposals to meet those objectives
  • Sell recommendations at the appropriate level to the customer's organization

Duties

  • Developing and cultivating territory development, direct and indirect sales
  • Select relevant customers accounts to achieve assigned sales quota
  • Analyze customer requirements and promote consideration of RSD solution
  • Actively participate in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events and campaigns

Knowledge and professional skills

  • In-depth knowledge of RSD solutions, products and components
  • Effective and efficient selling, presentation and marketing skills, including thorough knowledge of marketing practices and operations for large accounts approaching and selling
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Output Management solutions and market evolution
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Records Management and ECM market and evolution
  • Ideally bilingual French/English or French/German with very good written and spoken skills of the other language, is mandatory

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of sales experience with at least 5 years with large accounts sales experience in technology, information or software industries

Knowledge and familiarity with most computing environments.

Working Conditions

  • Up to 60% travel
  • Office based in Geneva – other options (i.e Zürich office negotiable)
