Didier Basset joined RSD in 1993 as Marketing Director. His leadership and achievements over the years earned him the position of Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Didier became Director of Operations in 2007.  His deep understanding of RSD’s market, customers, and staff give him unique insight into the company’s business performance, and long-term strategy. He provides day-to-day guidance to ensure timely completion of corporate priorities, and ensures RSD builds and maintains a best-in-class organization.

From 1984 to 1992, Didier was Product Manager at IBM Suisse SA.  He was in charge of launching new software for systems management (all IBM platforms) and a new range of information storage products. In addition, he was Sales Manager for major banks and financial services accounts in Geneva.

Before IBM, Didier was a data processing and software editing specialist at Gestronic SA -- one of the major enterprise resource planning software firms in Switzerland in the 1980s.

Didier holds a masters degree in social economic science and business computing from the University of Geneva.
