RSD was founded in 1973 in Geneva, Switzerland. RSD’s foundation was in mainframe output management and later in document archiving and retrieval. Over the years, RSD has released three primary solutions. Our first solution, Writer Scanning Facility (WSF2), was introduced in 1983 and is still widely used in banking and insurance circles for mass distribution of both internal and external reports. This solution was developed to help organizations to dramatically reduce, if not eliminate, reliance on print distribution of their computer generated output.
Moving forward, the solution became RSD EOS, an enterprise-grade distributed output and report management solution designed specifically to meet the challenges of capturing, synthesizing, and delivering actionable information where it’s needed, when it’s needed, and in the required format.
In 1992 RSD developed RSD Folders, an enterprise-grade document archiving and records management solution to complement RSD EOS.
