RSD was founded in 1973 in Geneva, Switzerland. RSD’s foundation was in mainframe output management and later in document archiving and retrieval. Over the years, RSD has released three primary solutions. Our first solution, Writer Scanning Facility (WSF2), was introduced in 1983 and is still widely used in banking and insurance circles for mass distribution of both internal and external reports. This solution was developed to help organizations to dramatically reduce, if not eliminate, reliance on print distribution of their computer generated output.
Moving forward, the solution became RSD EOS, an enterprise-grade distributed output and report management solution designed specifically to meet the challenges of capturing, synthesizing, and delivering actionable information where it’s needed, when it’s needed, and in the required format.
In 1992 RSD developed RSD Folders, an enterprise-grade document archiving and records management solution to complement RSD EOS.
RSD has recently launched a new innovative and breakthrough solution: z/Trim Operations Analytics optimizes mainframe costs and accelerates mainframe modernization by leveraging analytics. z/Trim Operations Analytics is designed to visualize mainframe consumption in one click, to provide easy-to-understand insights to control mainframe costs and to facilitate the dialogue with stakeholders.
RSD is headquartered in Geneva, with offices in the US and in Asia Pacific. With a strong and loyal customer base with millions of daily users worldwide. RSD solutions are available around the globe – both directly and through business partners.
